It was break time, so Hestia took the liberty to head out to the pond (or il lago, as the Italians called it) to relax and hang out with friends. She was friends with most people so she doubted she wouldn't know a familiar face among the crowd of students who usually hung out around the pond as well. Aside from interacting with people, one of the things she enjoyed whenever she was at il lago was watching the fish swimming about in the water, but she wasn't really sure how that would be now since it was currently winter. Nonetheless it was still a refreshing outdoors area to be hang around.
Once she got there, she looked around for someone to greet and chat with. Some people simply liked coming out here to take in the view and breath in fresh air or to take a solitary walk--and even to read a book--but Hestia was the sort to seek socialization first while she enjoyed the pretty landscape. She didn't know how she would survive without having (good) company to keep. Loneliness was probably one of her worst fears for that reason.@Dominique Weasley
